MagMod Megabox 24 Octa Pro Kit

MagMod has compiled this MagMod Megabox 24 Octa Pro Kit for photographers who want to maximize the potential of their Speedlight flash units while having the option to configure the system for use with flash units. The kit includes the 24-inch MagBox Octa softbox with a diffuser, a MagRing that holds one or two flashes, a MagShoe for hand or foot mounting and a set of CT correction gels. Also included is the FocusDiffuser which narrows the beam spread of the Octa while increasing the output two or three stops. It all fits in the supplied case.

MagBox 24 Octa Softbox (24")

The 24-inch MagBox 24 Octa Softbox from MagMod has a one-piece design and a magnetic base for very fast installation and disassembly and is compatible with Profoto, Bowens, Elinchrom or Paul C. Buff flash units with optional special adapters and one or two Speedlights with the addition of the MagGrip that is sold separately. One of the most striking features of the MagBox is the evenness of the output from edge to edge. Two gel kits are available with a variety of colors that slide into the integrated gel holder of the softbox, while there is also a CTO set for the conversion of your light source to the tungsten balance. Finally, the FocusDiffuser from MagMod is supplied as a grid and a lens combined so that you can control the leakage of light and direct the light while increasing the efficiency.

MagRing

The MagMod MagRing is a lightweight universal Speedlight support that accepts a maximum of two Speedlights that are equipped with MagMod's MagGrip (MagGrip not included). The MagRing is equipped with a cold shoe attachment for mounting a MagMod MagShoe for use by hand or on a tripod. Magnetic attachments form the heart of the MagRing and are used to hold MagMod's MagBox softbox. Magnets also protect your Speedlights when they are mounted with the MagGrip, and the MagRing has locking doors for additional protection.

MagShoe for MagRing

The MagMod MagShoe for MagRing is a lightweight ergonomic holder for your MagRing flash holder. The MagShoe can be mounted on a tripod with a 5/8" pin or easily carried in the hand, and accepts a flash or the MagRing using a hot shoe mounting system. It is designed to be operated with just one hand and keeps your other hand available to hold your camera, allowing you to mount your flash or MagRing and lock it in place with one hand. 

MagBox Case

The MagMod MagBox Case is ideal for traveling and is designed for storage, protection, and transport of your MagBox Light, MagRing, two MagShoes, two Speedlight flashes, two Focus Diffusers, and around 24 MagBox Gels.

MagBox 24 Octa FocusDiffuser

The MagBox 24 Octa FocusDiffuser has a unique design that contains microstructures and acts as a combination of a grid and a lens to change the light beam distribution of the softbox. Thanks to the integrated magnets, this FocusDiffuser can be attached very quickly. The FocusDiffuser narrows the wide beam to 20 or 40 degrees, depending on the direction while reducing the light output by two or three stops.

MagBox Correction Gel Set

The Correction Gel Kit has been put together by MagMod to help photographers convert the daylight color balance of their Speedlight into an incandescent lamp or to heat or cool the quality of the light. The set contains eight rigid polycarbonate gels that slide into the integrated slot in the MagBox Octa Softbox. The set contains Full CTO, 1/2 CTO and 1/4 CTO filters, as well as a full CTB, 1/2 CTB, Full Plus Green, 1/2 Plus Green and an 8x ND filter. A separate purchase of a MagGrip is required for the gels.
