This book focuses on Blancquaert's work from the mid-1980s to the present. The photos (both colour and black and white) show series about parents and children, burn victims, women in Afghanistan, Congo and Za&ium;re, Eastern Europe in the 1980s and post-genocidal Rwanda.</ p>
Finally, there are portraits of many well-known Flemish people.
