The Leica Q3 is a premium fullframe mirrorless camera, perfect for fulfilling your creative vision on a daily basis.
The Q3 features the BSI-CMOS sensor with 'Triple-Resolution-Technology', enabling you to shoot 60, 36 and 18 megapixel images in DNG or JPEG format with ease. Regardless of the chosen resolution, the camera always uses the sensor's full extent, and you have a huge ISO range of 50 -100,000. Thanks to the interaction between the sensor and the Maestro IV-Processor with L2 technology, you get to enjoy a fantastic dynamic range of 14 stops.
The Leica Q3 is also even better for the videographer than its predecessor. You will be able to record your videos in stunning 8K image resolution at 30 fps and 4K resolution at 60 fps, with access to a very complete set of codecs, from the highly efficient .h265 to Apple's ProRes.
The built-in Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH. lens now features an integrated macro mode. Allowing you to capture the finest details at a distance of just 17 centimetres. In addition to shooting at the standard wide 28mm focal length, you can also zoom in optically to focal lengths of 50, 75 and 90mm.
The hybrid autofocus system ensures you never miss a moment. This system combines high-precision contrast AF, a Defocus system, phase detection AF and high-speed focusing and subject tracking. In addition, you are supported by intelligent object recognition, allowing you to take the perfect shot.
Finally, the Leica Q3 excels in terms of connectivity. You'll be able to transfer photos to your smartphone up to 10x faster with the Leica PHOTOS app. Where with the Q2 you could transfer one DNG file every 30 seconds, it now takes just 2 seconds. In addition, Tethered shooting with Capture One or the Adobe Lightroom plug-in is supported via USB-C.
