The ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 is thé ultimate solution for any photographer looking for enhanced accuracy and consistent colours and flexibility in creative applications. The Passport Photo 2 combines four diferent pocket-sized colour targets. This ColorChecker includes a grey and a white balance target. The gret target has more than 18% grey shades which guarantees you accurate lighting with reflective light meters and will help you eliminate unwanted colour casts. You can use the white target as a neutral point of reference to help you accurately select colours in different lighting conditions and to create white balance settings whilst shooting. A Classic Target is also supplied. This contains a range of grey, natural, chromatic and primary colours. These colours represent natural objects, such as skin tone, foliage and blue sky. The Classic Target yields a lifelike image display, helping you to choose the right colour for any given lighting condition. A Creative Enhancement Target completes the set. This target can be used to give colours a warmer or colder tones, via 1/3 stop increments. The software has been ¨upgraded to version 1.2, which means you can now make DNG and ICC camera profiles using the Classic Target. The software recognises the colour target you are using and, having created colour profiles under various lighting conditions, helps to reduce differences in colour between shots and to finetune the colour balance, scène to scène. You can opt to combine DNG profiles with two light sources into a single ´´ profile. This can be applied to a broader spectrum of lighting conditions.
