The Tamron 70-180 mm F/2.8 Di III VXD is a light and compact standard zoom lens with a Sony E-mount. This lens is perfect for photographers looking for a lens that is ready whenever needed. The VXD, Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive, is a precise and fast autofocus that is perfect for those looking to push the boundaries of sports photography. The fast autofocus ensures you always keep your target in focus. With this autofocus you can focus at 85cm, and with the manual focus at 27cm at 70mm even.
This standard zoom lens has a lens structure of 14 groups with 19 elements. This keeps flares, ghosting and vignetting to a minimum. In addition, the front lens has an easy-to-clean fluorine coating. Easy to clean if dirt accidentally gets on it.
