The Profoto 300514 ProRing Plus UV flash head is a light source that surrounds the lens and supports the camera via the included mount. The ProRing Plus is popular among fashion photographers for its unique catchlights, soft, flat output and nigh on shadowless light quality, even when close to a background.
The ProRing Plus has a glass safety cover for its flash tube that can handle up to 2,400W/s. The flash head comes with camera and tripod adapters and a cable (4 metres). The connector is sealed to prevent dust and moisture from penetrating the generator. This version doesn't have a modelling light. It is compatible with the Pro-8, Pro-7, Pro-B4, Pro-B3, Pro-B2 and the D4 generators. Please note: use requires the separate purchase of a power pack.
