Thanks to its collaboration with LEICA, this lens delivers razor-sharp resolution across the entire zoom range. The autofocus is controlled by a dual-magnet linear motor. That means this lens can focus very quickly in all kinds of situations, ensuring you never miss a moment. Even during filming, this lens provides razor-sharp focus with virtually no focus breathing.
That this is a good lens for video is also shown by the aperture, which is smoothly changeable to prevent sudden changes in exposure. Moreover, the whole design is made so that the lens makes almost no noise. The fast autofocus works perfectly with 4K video for the highest quality videos.
