The NiSi Circular ND filter kit is a complete set with all the ND filters you could wish for! The set contains three different filters, so you are prepared for any light situation. In addition, there is a handy cover with cleaning cloth.
The NiSi Pro Nano HUC IR ND1000 filter is a strong grey filter that stops up to 10 stops of light, thanks to the optical density of 3.0. The filter has a double-sided Nano-Coating, so moisture does not stick. This makes the filter easier to clean. The optical Schott glass reduces reflections and glare of light. This ND filter is an infrared filter that prevents unwanted red colours in photos with long shutter speeds.
The HUC IR ND8 filter stops up to 3 stops of light and the HUC IR ND64+CPL up to 6 stops. The latter also has a built-in polarisation filter to reduce reflections in, for example, glass and water. It also increases the contrast and colour saturation of your photos.
You use an ND filter to reduce the amount of light that enters your sensor. For example, on a very sunny day or when you are surrounded by brightly reflecting snow. This prevents your photos from being overexposed. In addition, a grey filter can be used for pictures with long shutter speeds. Think of photographing surfaces with water, waterfalls or car lights.
