Description
The Hoya 82mm Digital Filter Kit II (3 filters) consists of three different filters that form a complete set for each photographer. These filters are suitable for everyday use and allow you to make the most of your own creativity in your photos. This Digital Filter Kit II contains a UV (C) filter, a circular polarizing filter and a ND filter with a filter size of 82mm.
UV HMC C filter
By using a UV filter, it reduces hue, corrects blue and violet when color photographs are corrected and black and white photos get sharper. The multi-coating also reduces annoying reflections. A UV filter is recommended to protect multi-coated lenses from damage such as scratches and to reduce the UV light. The UV filter has a filter factor of zero and does not affect the exposure.
Circular Polarizing Filter
Polarizing filters are filters that are often used for special situations. A CP filter is somewhat bluer compared to a UV filter. This means, among other things, that you will experience light loss when using the filter. It is therefore not advisable to use a CP filter inside or in the evening on a lens. A CP filter is nice to use for landscape photos, by rotating the CP filter you can make different colors appear blue. So you can decide how blue you want your air to be. A CP filter is also recommended for water surfaces. You can use the filter to choose whether the water is mirrored, or that you want to photograph "into the depth".
NDx8 Grey Filter
A ND filter reduces the amount of light that enters the lens, but does not affect the colors in your photos. This allows faster shutter speeds or a larger aperture to be selected. You can think of photographing running water or cloudy skies and working with a smaller depth of field. This ND filter is good for 3 stops less light.
