Description
When 100 megapixels is not enough for you, Hasselblad has the solution. The new Hasselblad H6D-400c MS camera shoots pictures of 400 megapixels with perfectly reproduced colors thanks to the matrix shift function. Using the matrix shifting system, this camera enables two special Multi-Shot modes. The first of these, in which the matrix is moved in four directions with each pixel, ensures that every pixel on the sensor writes complete information about RGB components, and this produces 100 megapixel photos with extremely accurate color reproduction. This mode also helps to deal with the moiré effect that occurs in very small patterns.
The second mode will, in addition to the above-mentioned directions, shift the matrix in two extra directions over a distance of 1/2 pixel, after which the results are combined to a file with a resolution of 400 Mp (23,200 x 17,400 pixels). This leads to an unprecedented photo detail that exceeds everything that digital cameras have been able to offer so far. However, you will need to provide a large storage capacity: the 16-bit TIFF files saved in these modes have a size of 2.4 GB. The H6D-400C MS operates in the ISO 64 – 12,800 resolution range and offers a 15-degree dynamic range, a 3-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 920,000 points, two SD card slots, USB-C connection, Wi-Fi module and support for True Focus II technology.
