The lightweight G-Technology G-Drive RAW USB 3.0 1TB is a robust and portable 1TB hard drive with Rugged Bumper. The disk is designed for anyone who wants access on the go to personal and/or business files, photos, video, music and more. When the included removable bumper is attached to the disc, it is better protected from a 1.5-meter high drop on a concrete floor with floor coverings. Without a bumper, the disc is protected up to 1.2 meters high. The G-DRIVE and RaW are equipped with technologies that allow speeds up to 136 MB / s.
The 1TB disk is excellent for various tasks, such as backup, changes, data transfer and general storage. The disk has two built-in interfaces: USB 3.0 and SATA. The USB 3.0 interface is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and allows data transfer rates up to 5 GB / s. Whoever wants to use the SATA interface can do this only with the G-DOCK ev storage solution with Thunderbolt.
Although the 1TB G-DRIVE ev RaW is formatted for Mac (compatible with Mac OS X 10.7+), it can easily be reformatted for Windows (compatible with Windows 8.1, 8 and 7). In addition, the disk is compatible with any Evolution Series G-DRIVE ev product. The 1TB G-DRIVE and RaW USB 3.0 disc are powered by a supplied USB 3.0 cable.
