This Barr & Stroud 10x32 binoculars from the Sierra series have been very well received and have passed various tests excellently. Striking features are the superior image reproduction, and the solid body in combination with a very good price!
If you are looking for compact yet reasonably bright binoculars, the Sierra 10x32 is your ideal travel companion. However, if you regularly want to view at dusk or under dark weather conditions, you should opt for the 10x42 version. The binoculars are compact and fit well in the hand and can be used for many purposes.
The Barr & Stroud binoculars from the Sierra series have a sturdy, robust, tough rubber-coated housing with a brilliant BAK-4 optic with a Phase coating. The other optics are fully multi-coated, so that in combination with the phase-coating the optical performance is amazing.
All models are filled with nitrogen gas and are therefore waterproof for 3 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters. With the metal twist-up eyecups, the binoculars can also be used by people who wear glasses. With a diopter correction on the eyepiece from +4 to -4, they can be adjusted to almost all eyes. The binoculars can be adjusted to an eye width of 56 mm to 74 mm.
