The B + W Circular Polarizing HTC MRC Nano XS-Pro 40.5mm is provided with a multi-resistant coating. This coating protects filters from scratches (for instance when cleaning the filters).
XS-Pro Digital
The XS-Pro Digital filter mount is used in the premium line of B + W filters. The mount is thinner than the standard F-Pro mount and therefore suitable for use on super wide angle lenses (wider than 24mm on full frame format). The XS-Pro Digital filter mount includes threads on both sides of the filter. This allows you to use the original lens cap of the lens, while the filter it is extremely thin.
XS-Pro Digital filter mounts are made of brass material and therefore very rigid. Also, this type of mount has a matt black finishing, so that reflection is reduced to the minimum.
Circular polarization
Highly efficient standard circular polarizing filter for all cameras with beams in the light paths of their TTL and with autofocus lenses. Circular polarization has the same photo effects, such as linear polarization, but allows for proper exposure and / or autofocus distance settings.
B + W polarizing filters increase colour saturation and reduce reflections. The neutral gray colour and the simple parallel polarization material guarantee optimal image results. The optical glass quality ensures excellent photo quality. The filter factor varies in accordance with the position of the filter in relation to the sun. The filter factor is between 2.3 and 2.8.
