The Arca-Swiss C1 Cube GP Fliplock + Leather Bag is the result of the further development of the patented Arca-Swiss C1 Cube and the Arca-Swiss D4 with their unique design and innovative construction. They are now available with a gear-driven self-locking panning device, located under the camera's quick coupling, for safe and accurate positioning. The new versions of our heads will be referred to as "gp", for targeted panning control. The photographer now has a choice when using the pan for an image - gear-driven or free movements. When the gp button is pulled out, the pan movement is free for rough and fast panning adjustments. When the gp button is pressed, the gears within the panning device are switched on again and provide precisely tuned rotation of the camera.

With the new toothed panning device, cameras and lenses can move micro-metrically on three axes. Due to its position, panoramic movements will maintain the central axis. In addition, the Arca-Swiss C1 Cube GP and Arca-Swiss D4 GP are equipped with a second manual panning control at the base of the head to tune the head on the tripod. The new C1 Cube GP and D4 GP are sold separately and do not replace the current versions.
