DJI Care Refresh Ronin-S

You can use the DJI Care Refresh to insure your DJI Ronin-S against damage. With the DJI Care Refresh you save more than having the gimbal made yourself. This insurance covers damage from improper use, water damage, damage due to signal interference or any damage whatsoever. You can replace parts twice a year. In addition, with this DJI Care Refresh you always get advice about your products when you need it and the products are shipped for free. You can also opt for the EXPRESS option, so that your product is repaired faster and you can get back to work quickly.You can buy this insurance in four regions: Asia; Europe; Australia and North America.

How do I activate the DJI Care Refresh

  1. Go to the activation page:
  2. When registering, enter the following:
    • Serial number of the gimbal
    • The activation code of the DJI Care Refresh
    • Personal informountion
  3. The DJI Care Refresh Agreement will be sent to your email

What are the conditions

DJI Care Refresh imposes some conditions on the insurance:

  • The gimbal must be new and not yet activated
  • Care Refresh must be activated within 48 hours after you have activated the gimbal
  • You can only have the gimbal repaired in the region where you bought it
  • The Care Refresh is not valid on OUTLET gimbals
  • The Care Refresh is valid for 1 year (12 months)

Which parts will be replaced

The following parts of the DJI Ronin-S are replaced with the DJI Care Refresh:

  • Gimbal
  • Grip (including battery)

How does the repair process go

The process follows the following five steps:

  1. There is a problem with the gimbal. You can contact DJI via: for instructions on how to ship the damaged gimbal
  2. The customer places a repair request online via:
  3. The request will be sent to the DJI Repair Center
  4. You pay the replacement costs
  5. The repaired gimbal will be shipped to you for free

Points of attention for the repair process

  • Note: You must provide the gimbal that can be repaired. In case of loss of the gimbal, DJI will not pay compensation.
  • You must maintain contact with DJI yourself. It can also be done via Kamera Express, but this will cause a logistical delay.
