Sony HVL-F60RM Flash

The wireless Sony HVL-F60RM Flash is equipped with a built-in 2.4 GHz radio transceiver that allows photographers to quickly create portable lighting setups with full support for P-TTL/ADI measurement. This flash can be set as a commander or remote device that fully supports the existing radio commanders and receivers from Sony, including ratio control, the ability to work with up to 15 flashes in five groups and access to 14 channels. The flash also works within Sony's optical wireless flash system, where it can also work remotely as a commander or device.

Compared to its predecessor and in addition to the added radio transceiver, the HVL-F60RM also has improved overheating protection for more consistent and reliable performance. It has a guide number of 60 meters at ISO 100 and 105 mm, together with an improved recycling time of 1.7 seconds. Full bounce capabilities are also available, with a tilt of -8 to 150° and a total of 180° rotation. It also has a 20-200mm zoom head that can be expanded to 14 mm with a pull-out diffuser panel. The forward-facing LED light has been updated and can now also be used as an AF assist lamp with E-mount mirrorless cameras for more reliable and faster focus in low light. In addition, the flash also has a dust and moisture-resistant construction together with a durable metal base.

Equipped with a 2.4 GHz radio transceiver, the HVL-F60RM can act as a radio commander or remote device as part of the Sony wireless system, including the FA-WRC1M Wireless Radio Commander and FA-WRR1 wireless radio -receiver. This system has a working range of 30 meters and requires no line of sight. It also supports up to 15 flashes in five groups on one of the 14 channels. In addition, it fully supports the P-TTL/ADI measurement system from Sony, including super-fast synchronization and ratio control.
