The Really Right Stuff PC-Pro Panning Clamp is designed to allow precise horizontal panning as a versatile built-in or modular accessory. By combining the traditional screwdriver clamp with a lockable 360 degree panning bearer, the PC-PRO is a robust, yet lightweight panning solution for easier shooting of single-row panoramas. The screw knob clamp provides assembly for all Ready Right Stuff-style dovetails (Arca-Swiss compatible) and is unlimited adjustable from the maximum to the minimum positions, making it compatible with virtually any Arca style plate brands.
The PC-PRO includes a built-in dovetail base, enabling it to be attached to any Really Right Stuff ball head clip. This makes it possible to use the ball head itself to reduce the panning axis, avoiding the need for a leveling base in many applications. The increased speed and accuracy that the panning clamp provides makes the composition of panoramas very easy. When you have finished shooting, you place the panning clip back into its neoprene sleeve (included) and put it in your camera bag. This quick-release modular structure ensures that part-time panorama photographers keep the weight of their tripod when not needed.
For those who prefer not to use the dovetail at the bottom, the clamp has a central mounting bush with 3/8"-16 thread, and also includes 1/4"-20 and M6 screws for immediate mounting on Really Right Stuff and Arca-Swiss ball heads.
