The Profoto B1X 500 AirTTL Location Kit consists of two B1X flash heads with 80 percent brighter LED lights and batteries with 50 percent more capacity (325 full power flash) and High-Speed Sync that makes that it can use full Power range. In addition, there is an AC battery charger, a car charger and a Profoto Backpack M to store and transport everything. The B1X has a durable polymer housing, a fully integrated 77-degree reflector, built-in receiver that is compatible with Air Remote TTL remote controls, and intuitive, visible controls and display. AirTTL remote controls are made for Nikon, Canon, Sony and Olympus cameras.
Busy photographers can simply set up their flashes, attach the optional Air Remote TTL-C, TTL-N, TTL-S or TTL-O remote control to their camera's flash shoe and start shooting without having to read and test first. The B1X also features High Speed Sync. HSS is the technical term for the syncing of the flash with shutter speeds that are shorter than the so-called x sync, usually 1/250th of a second. It is a convenient tool for controlling ambient light. The B1X 500 AirTTL uses an enhanced, high capacity, removable lithium-ion battery that can flash up to 325 times on a 1.5-hour charge. The battery has LEDs with which the capacity is easy to see.
