very good binoculars, light and works well for bird watching..... only a slight chromatic aberration bothers me... but maybe I'm a grumpy photographer

The Pentax SD 10x42 WP is waterproof and has a magnification ratio of 10 x. This roof prism binocular has all the quality feature. The newly developed prism, waterproof, light transmission multi-coated lenses, internal focus and phase correction giving a contrasty and bright view. The SD series is ruggedly designed and give you a pleasant viewing experience.
This binocular is waterproof and filled with nitrogen, making it resistant to mist and to temperature changes. The lenses are multilayer coated, so the light that passes through is maximized. Thanks to the rubber layer on the body, you have a good grip which also provides protection against falls and bumps. Focusing is easy through the centrally positioned ring. Thanks to the Nano-coating, the binoculars are water, grease, dust and dirt repellent.
