In collaboration with National Geographic, Bresser has released a very attractive range of instruments, including this computer-controlled lens telescope with go-to system. This high-quality wide-field lens telescope gives a nice clear image and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The easy to use go-to system is also easy to use for the beginner astronomer.
The telescope can be mounted on the aluminium field tripod. The telescope can also be placed on a table, without tripod. The moon and the planets are exceptionally beautiful objects to view with this telescope. The telescope is luminous enough to see even the brightest of hazes. The hand controller supplied with it has 272,000 pre-set astronomical objects. A compass is included to properly align the telescope to the North.
Using the rotatable star chart or planetarium software included with it, it is easy to orientate your way around whilst star-gazing. The two eyepieces give a magnification of 18x (20mm eyepiece) and 35x (10mm eyepiece). For optimally viewing the moon, a moon filter is included. All in all, a very complete computer-controlled telescope which is 'small' but mighty!
