The Datacolor SpyderX Elite helps you achieve consistently accurate colors on your monitor. The SpyderX Elite is a calibration solution with a lens-based color engine for fast, accurate and versatile performance. The colorimeter connects with the SpyderX software to offer a range of calibration control, ranging from a wizard option with one mouse click to an expert console for fine-tuning color, brightness and contrast for each application. The colorimeter contains an ambient light sensor to measure the prevailing light conditions and can automatically recalibrate the monitor to maintain consistent results. The Elite version of the SpyderX increases the control level and offers unlimited calibration setting choices that are suitable for everything from photo to video to scientific standard settings, and a monitor performance analysis function lets you inspect the various aspects and uniformity of the calibration settings. This software and colorimeter can also be used to calibrate digital projectors, installations with multiple monitors and, with the help of StudioMatch, can make a standard for all monitors that you work with to be matched. In addition, the built-in softproofing helps to achieve accurate results when switching to prints, tablets or other screens.

Using redesigned, lens-based color engine technology, this colorimeter offers improved light sensitivity and greater accuracy for better screen color, white balance and more shadow details. SpyderX software is an intuitive tool for producing both quick calibrations and more customized color profiling. Calibration with one click and step-by-step wizard guides can be used to speed up the calibration process or expert console modes offer more control for special applications.

The integrated ambient light sensor can measure room light throughout the day to match the brightness and contrast of the screen to the ideal viewing conditions. SpyderX software can then warn you to recalibrate or automatically perform calibrations to adjust the prevailing ambient light using custom profiles for five different ambient light settings. Multiple laptops, desktop monitors and front projectors can be calibrated with SpyderX software, with full support for the latest display technologies. With the SpyderProof function you can compare the colors of the monitor before and after calibration to isolate the shortcomings and see what has changed between settings. This function can be used in combination with a Datacolor test image. One of your own photos can also be uploaded for a complete review on the screen. In addition to computer screens, SpyderX Elite is also compatible with digital projectors, is suitable for video and cinematographic applications and can be used for tuning multiple and side-by-side monitor configurations.
