The Canon EOS M50 mark II is a system camera that is very suitable for content creators or starting image makers. You can shoot razor-sharp photos and 4K video with stunning image quality.
The APS-C sensor delivers high-quality 24.1 MP photos and 4K video at 25fps. Fast action can be captured at up to 10 frames per second, so you can almost always capture the moment. Dual Pixel CMOS AF ensures fast and continuous focusing for both stills and video. Intelligent eye and face detection keep your subject in focus. Focusing works in difficult lighting conditions, down to -4EV. Besides 4K video, you also have the possibility to film in Full HD with up to 60fps and HD up to 119.9fps. The camera has a Vertical Movie mode for automatically making vertical movies. You can then use these directly, for example, on Instagram. The videos can be sent from the camera to your phone straight away thanks to automatic video transcoding.
The compact body of the camera fits comfortably in your hand, which makes it ideal for making vlogs. Livestreams have also been thought of here. Canon has equipped the EOS M50 mark II with the possibility to stream directly to YouTube via Wi-Fi, without the need for a laptop or streaming device. For this you need an image.canon account and a YouTube channel with more than 1.000 subscribers. In addition, you also have the possibility of streaming with the aid of the EOS Webcam Utility or HDMI streaming. The latter is possible with info or without info (Clean HDMI) up to an image resolution of 4K. For the best audio result, the camera has a microphone connection for external microphones.
