The Canon EOS 90D DSLR camera is designed for any keen photographer looking for even higher quality photos and videos. This camera also has a 45 point AF system with 'cross-type' focus points only. The AF points can be selected individually or grouped into areas for precise focus or tracking subjects within a wide field of view. This yields greater control over the composition, regardless of where your subject lies within the frame. When using lens combinations with small apertures, 27 F8 compatible AF points will ensure correct focus, even in the most extreme situations. The Eye autofocus is new. This lets you focus on an eye and also track it, to produce a consistently sharp image.A real dynamo, thanks to the DIGIC 8 image processor. The shooting speed can be up to 11 frames per second. With built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, you can control your camera remotely. But also easily transfer the photos to your tablet or Smartphone.

The Canon EF-S 17-55 mm F2.8 IS USM lens will broaden your horizons. This wide-angle lens is perfect for landscape photography. The lens features a fixed light value of F2.8 across the entire spectrum, making it eminently suitable for semi-professional users. The large aperture gives your object the focus it deserves. The built-in Image Stabiliser ensures focused, natural shots as any juddering or light deficits are compensated for. Making this particular technology ideal for hand-held photography. Fixed aperture

The large f/2.8 aperture delivers excellent results in low-light settings. The aperture remains constant across the entire focal length range. With this you can zoom in and out with a 27-88 mm range (35mm equivalent), without extending the shutter speed.

Image stabilisation

The EF-S 17-55 mm f/2.8 IS USM features Canon image stabilisation (IS) with three stop increments. Image Stabilisation is ideal for hand-held photography and enables shutter speeds that are maximally 3 stop increments longer, without any visible increase in image blurring. IS helps you in situations involving low-light, quick scene changes and when photographing out of a moving vehicle.

Fast, inaudible autofocus

A ring-shaped USM (Ultrasonic Motor) utilises ultrasonic frequency vibrations to ensure super-fast, super-silent focusing. A high motor torque stops the focusing group without further shooting. "Full-time" electronic activation of manual focusing is possible without having to disable the AF.

Super Spectra coatings

Optimised Super Spectra lens coatings and the special lens element design suppress light sources and reflections that occur more frequently with digital cameras due to the reflection off the image sensor. Coatings also help to attain the right colour balance and to enhance the contrast, yielding true-to-life, realistic photos.

Distance data is transmitted to the E-TTL II

The lens transmits distance data to the camera's E-TTL II flash system, thus ensuring optimal flash measurement in every single shot.
