Description
The Bresser Pollux 150/750 EQ3 Parabolic is a powerful mirror telescope with a total focal length of 750 mm. The total magnification is 300x. This allows you to see in detail the moon and other planets of our solar system. Deepsky objects and luminous nebulae are also visible. You can also study the sun with the included solar filter. Because the parabolic mirror is large, 150 mm, there is a lot of light coming into the telescope. This allows you to enjoy a very bright view of the stars.
The equatorial mount offers great ease of use and allows for easy tracking of objects in the sky. A 3x Barlow lens is included as an accessory that allows you to increase the focal point. However, this is at the expense of light output and detail. Therefore, a Barlow lens is only recommended when viewing very bright objects such as the moon.
The large 2-inch focus user on the Pollux telescope enables the use of 2-inch oculars, allowing you to see more. The adapter allows you to just use your 1.25" ocular on the 2-inch focuser. The smartphone adapter enables instant photography and video of the starry sky.
Note: Never look directly in the sun without a solar filter!
