The CoreSWX PowerBase EDGE Small Form Cine V-Mount Battery Pack 49wh, 14.8v with Sony L-Series Battery Cable is the successor to the highly successful Powerbase70, a versatile, compact V-mount battery for cine and DSLR cameras. The 14.8V Li-Ion battery has an 8V connection for cameras, two USB outputs and two Powertap outputs, one of which is SmartTap. The 8V output can power many of the small cine cameras and DSLRs on the market today that use small 7.4V Li-Ion batteries. Numerous dummy cables to connect the 8V port on your camera are optionally available. In addition to the camera, accessories such as monitors, lights, radio connections, etc. can also be controlled via the Powertaps. The two USB ports can charge mobile devices or control 5V devices such as audio recorders. The Powerbase Edge features an LCD to read the exact battery life. It can be illuminated at the push of a button to read the run time, even in a dark environment. Like its predecessor, the Powerbase Edge has a quick release plate to connect it to a camera, rig, or cage. Although it is 30% smaller than the Powerbase70, it can withstand the power requirements of fully-fledged cine cameras. The scope of delivery includes a PB70-C15 charger and a Sony L-series battery cable.
