The Canon Powershot G5X Mark II is an advanced compact camera characterized by a large image sensor and fast zoom lens. Canon's Powershot G5X is equipped with a 20.1 Megapixel 1-inch High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor and DIGIC 8 image processor. In combination with the Canon HS System, this gives the camera better low-light capabilities, ensures faster performance and enables 4K video recording. The camera has a 5x optical zoom lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 24-120mm. In addition, the bright maximum aperture of f/1.8-2.8 ensures depth of field control. Both a high-resolution 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder and a 3-inch 1.04m-dot multi-angle LCD touchscreen are available for image monitoring and review. The Canon Powershot G5X Mark II contains a pop-up viewfinder, which allows you to take slightly finer photos on clear days. This compact camera is mainly focused on photography.
To take advantage of a convenient ease of use, the G5X Mark II is equipped with various physical buttons, including a special exposure compensation swivel, a control swivel and a control ring on the front for quickly adjusting various shooting settings. A Hot Shoe is included in the design for working with an optional external flash, in addition, the camera is also compatible with the optional RS-60E3 for remote shooting. The Powershot G5X Mark II is a lot lighter than its predecessor with a whopping 340g.
