The Canon DM-E1 Directional Stereo Microphone has a lightweight Shotgun design and records movie soundtrack with superb quality. The microphone is easily mounted on the hot shoe and connects into the 3.5 mm microphone socket of an extensive range of compatible EOS cameras. It has a 50 Hz to 16 kHz pick up range and a sensitivity of -42 dB. Capture rich and realistic sound, from the high to the low frequencies of a music performance.
A compact and lightweight design makes it easy to carry the microphone with you wherever you go. Combined with the camera and lens it creates one neat recording unit that enables you to shoot hand-held comfortably for long periods. A shock mount that counteracts the vibrations from camera or lens operation and a bundled windshield cover significantly reduces outdoor wind noise. A Signal/Noise ratio of 66 dB means less noise from background interference.
