Description
The Blackmagic Video Assist 7” 12G HDR is a professional monitor and recorder in one, for making film productions. The 7-inch screen has a display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a brightness of 2500 cd/m². That means that you will always be able to see the display, no matter what the light circumstances. With HDMI or 12G-SDI, you can record video from various cameras. The Blackmagic Video Assist records HDR video at a resolution of 4K DCO, 4K UHDm 2K, or HD in 10-bit 4:2:2. The filest are Apple ProRes by default, but also available in DNxHD and DNxHR coding.
3D LUT support makes it possible to monitor shots with the desired colour and look. Record video with two UHS-II SD cards, or directly via USB-C to an external hard drive. The fast touch screen makes working with the Blackmagic Video Assist very pleasant. Various settings including histogram, waveform, RGB parade, vector scope, zebra, peaking, etc. are easily activated. A little light at the top of the monitor indicates that it's recording.
